Women working in STEM careers, with a focus on technology/software careers, will share their stories on a panel at Galileo High School!
Acelia Castaneda will lead students through a coding workshop, then women in STEM professions will share their stories. Focus on how learning coding and robotics is important to many life science careers, which many students at Washington are interested in.
The IGNITE Chapter at Hilltop High School for Pregnant Minors will be having a coding workshop facilitated by Software Engineering student, Acelia Castaneda. Women will tell their story on a panel to help inspire girls to take Digital Media classes at Hilltop High School.
At Lumosity, scientists and game designers work together to develop games for brain health and brain training. On this exciting day, 20 students will be given a tour, participate in a a hands-on real-life activity with game developers, be provided lunch, and participate in a panel of women in STEM that work at Lumosity.
