Microsoft Mobile Workshop at Seattle World School

April 4, 2019 | Seattle World School

On April 4th, a group of girls & non-binary high school students at Seattle World School got to participate in a Microsoft Mobile Workshop!

With about 20 students in attendance, they used Microsoft's Small Basic to learn the foundations of programming. For many, this was their first introduction to coding! They had a great time animating a turtle to move on the screen, and using code to draw shapes with changing colors. The girls are looking forward to their next programming opportunity.

Thank you to the wonderful team at Microsoft who came out to Seattle World School to teach this Mobile Workshop!

Photos coming soon!
