On September 15 we had our Transportation You and IGNITE kickoff at Franklin High School. It was a great event and we had about 60 students attend. It was especially exciting to see so many familiar faces we have come to know and love over the last 3 years. We ate lunch; recapped the DC Summit; talked about upcoming events (including the 520 Bridge Tour on 9/29/16); and discussed mentorship, scholarship, and internship opportunities. We had a number of girls request more one-on-one mentorship, which we are hoping to incorporate more of this year, in addition to our stellar lunch programs.
We are looking forward to another great year with our awesome Franklin Girls!
