SUMMARY:Virtual Volunteers Needed – Panel for High School Students
DESCRIPTION:\nInspire girls and nonbinary students with your story! \n\n\n\nIGNITE aims to introduce girls and nonbinary students to high wage/high demand STEM fields where women are underrepresented, such as technology and engineering. The panel will be for students at Seattle World School, where students speak many languages including Spanish, Somali, Tigrinya, and Vietnamese. Women working in these fields, especially those who speak these languages, are highly encouraged to sign up as panelists!\n\n\n\nThis is an incredible opportunity to change a girl’s life! In order to make sure the students get the most out of the experience, panelists are required to review our 2021 online training at least once per school year and attend a Panelist Coaching Session if they have not attended one in the past. Training must be completed by Wednesday, December 8.\n\n\n\nOpen volunteer opportunities include: Facilitator, Tech Host, Blogger, Alternate Tech Host, and Alternate Blogger.\n
