SUMMARY:Virtual Women in STEM Career Progression Panel for Middle School Students
DESCRIPTION:\nInspire young women and nonbinary students in high school with your story!\n\n\n\nIGNITE aims to introduce girls/non-binary students to high wage/high demand STEM fields where womxn are underrepresented, such as skilled trades (e.g., construction, welding, and more!), technology, and engineering. We are featuring women at various points in their careers, and are now looking for one more Panelists who is 3-7 years into a career in the STEM field. \n\n\n\nThis is an incredible opportunity to change a young woman’s life! In order to make sure the students get the most out of the experience, panelists are required to review our 2021 online training at least once per school year and attend a Panelist Coaching Session if they have not attended one in the past. Training must be completed by Friday, March 11.\n\n\n\nYou can also help capture the inspiration during this event by signing up to be an IGNITE Blogger, with a time commitment of 2:15-3:15 pm.\n
