DESCRIPTION:\nInspire IGNITE Students in STEM during an IGNITE Panel at Skyline High School at 12250 Skyline Blvd., Oakland, CA 94619!\n\n\n\nIGNITE aims to increase gender diversity in high-wage/high-demand STEM fields, such as technology and engineering. Skyline High School serves a diverse population, with high percentages of students who are Hispanic/Latinx, Black, and Asian, as well as many who speak Spanish. Students at Skyline are particularly interested in creative applications for STEM skills, Green Buildings, Renewable Energy and Green careers. Women, nonbinary, transgender, agender, and genderqueer professionals who can share related perspectives and experiences are highly encouraged to sign up as Panelists to share their stories and answer student questions!\n\n\n\nThis is an incredible opportunity to change an IGNITE student’s life! After signing up as a panelist, volunteers are required to review our 10-minute Panelist Training Video at least once per school year and attend a live, interactive Virtual Panelist Coaching Session if they have not attended one in the past. Training must be completed by March 29.\n\n\n\nFinally, you can help capture the inspiration during this event by signing up to be an IGNITE Event Recorder and writing an event summary for the IGNITE Worldwide website.\n
