DESCRIPTION:\nEducators, be sure to take our short 2023-2024 educator training before signing up for this event.\n\n\n\nOnly teachers, counselors, or adult staff members at a school can sign up for IGNITE events. If you are a student, please let the IGNITE Educator at your school know that you are interested in this event. If you don’t have IGNITE at your school, please email contactus@ignite-worldwide.org to get started!\n\n\n\nDuring this field trip to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Skills Center, students will have the opportunity to interact with exhibits during a tour/scavenger hunt of the Cloud Discovery. Students will participate in a kahoot quiz based tour of a data center and roles within the data center. Students will hear from Amazonians on their journey to tech and/or Amazon/AWS.\n\n\n\nAWS Skills Center Arlington is a free training center for anyone in the local community who is curious about cloud computing and future job possibilities in the cloud. Access fun and engaging cloud skills training and interactive exhibits. It’s all free, and everyone is welcome. No matter where you are on your cloud journey, there’s a place for you to learn at the AWS Skills Centers. Visit their website to learn more! \n\n\n\n\nAll students will receive a tote bag, notebook, and pen. Plus, prizes will be awarded for the scavenger hunt and kahoot quiz!\n\n\n\nThis field trip is open to high school and postsecondary students only\n\n
