DESCRIPTION:\nEducators, be sure to take our short 2024-2025 educator training before signing up for this event.\n\n\n\nTour the Rivian training facility at Renton Technical College! Students will explore the state-of-the-art vehicles, tools and equipment Rivian is using to revolutionize the transportation industry. A hands-on experience centered around Rivian’s cutting edge vehicle builds will allow students to get up-close and personal with the technology, and the Panel discussion will be a fantastic opportunity to explore Rivian’s Technical Trades Program and learn how they can start their own adventure with Rivian!\n\n\n\nRivian is a company that strives to build the kind of future our kids and our kids’ kids deserve; extraordinary steps are being made to influence other industries to come together and change how others operate for a better future. Our story is about people coming together with one mission: to protect our planet and the cultures that inhabit it for generations to come.\n\n\n\nThis Field Trip is open to students in Grades 4-postsecondary (the first educator to sign up will determine the age range). All attendees will receive Rivian swag!\n\n\n\nOnly teachers, counselors, or adult staff members at a school can sign up for IGNITE events. If you are a student, please let the IGNITE Educator at your school know that you are interested in this event.
