DESCRIPTION:\nInspire IGNITE Students in STEM during an IGNITE Panel at Federal Way Public Academy at 34620 9th Ave S Federal Way, WA 98003!\n\n\n\nIGNITE aims to increase gender diversity in high-wage/high demand STEM fields, such as technology and engineering. Federal Way Public Academy serves a diverse student population, with high percentages of Russian, Ukrainian and Spanish speaking students. Women, nonbinary, transgender, agender, and genderqueer professionals who represent these perspectives are highly encouraged to sign up as Panelists to share their stories and answer student questions!\n\n\n\nThis is an incredible opportunity to change an IGNITE student’s life! After signing up as a panelist, new Panelists are required to complete our Panelist Training and attend a live, interactive Virtual Panelist Coaching Session. \n\n\n\nThe total time commitment is about 2 hours of pre-event preparation for new Panelists and 15 minutes of preparation for returning Panelists, in addition to two hours for the event itself. Training must be completed by October 10th.\n\n\n\nApproximate time commitment:\n\n\n\nNew Panelist: 3.75 hours – 1.75 hours prep (training, coaching, materials review) + 2-hour event\n\n\n\nReturning Panelist: 2.25 hours – 15 minutes prep + 2-hour event\n
