DESCRIPTION:\nEducators, be sure to take our short educator training before signing up for this event.\n\n\n\nOnly teachers, counselors, or adult staff members at a school can sign up for IGNITE events. If you are a student, please let the IGNITE Educator at your school know that you are interested in this event. If you don’t have IGNITE at your school, please email contactus@ignite-worldwide.org to get started!\n\n\n\nMacDonald Miller Facility Solutions specializes in construction and HVAC. They were recently nominated and winner of on of Washington’s Best Places to Work 2025. The company is growing exponentially over Washington and Oregon. \n\n\n\nThis field trip will explore what MacDonald Miller Facility Solutions does, their goals, and the many jobs one can do in the Trades. Students will also each make a vision board while reflecting on prompts like: “what is my career choice?”  “what does professional success in my career look like?” and “Future me in 5 years.” Students will color their boards and use magazines to illustrate their thoughts, considering STEM as a career, their personality, and where they are in their education process.\n\n\n\n\nAll attendees will receive MacDonald Miller Facility Solutions swag!\n\n\n\nAttendees will need to fill out a waiver.\n\n\n\nPPE required: MacDonald Miller Facility Solutions will provide headset and glasses. Students and chaperones are required to wear shirts that cover their shoulders, full pants, (no skin exposure) and full shoes (no toe or heel exposure).\n\n\n\nLunch is provided.\n\n\n\n\n\n
