DESCRIPTION:\nInspire IGNITE Students in STEM during an IGNITE Cybersecurity Panel at Skyline High School at 12250 Skyline Blvd. Oakland, CA 94619! The exact Panel time is 11:38AM – 1:08PM.\n\n\n\nIGNITE aims to increase gender diversity in high-wage/high demand STEM fields, such as technology and engineering. Skyline High School serves a diverse student population, with high percentages of Hispanic and African American. Women and gender-diverse professionals who represent these perspectives are highly encouraged to sign up as Panelists to share their stories and answer student questions!\n\n\n\nThis is an incredible opportunity to change an IGNITE student’s life! After signing up as a panelist, new Panelists are required to complete our Panelist Training and attend a live, interactive Virtual Panelist Coaching Session.\n\n\n\nThe total time commitment is about 2 hours of pre-event preparation for new Panelists and 15 minutes of preparation for returning Panelists, in addition to two hours for the event itself. Training must be completed by January 23.\n\n\n\nApproximate time commitment:\n\n\n\nNew Panelist: 4 hours: 2 hours prep (training, coaching, materials review) + 2-hour event\n\n\n\nReturning Panelist: 2.25 hours: 15 minutes prep + 2-hour event\n
