DESCRIPTION:\nInspire IGNITE Students in STEM during an IGNITE Panel at Woodside High School at 199 Churchill Avenue, Woodside, CA 94062!\n\n\n\nIGNITE aims to increase gender diversity in high-wage/high demand STEM fields, such as technology and engineering. Woodside High School serves a diverse student population, with high percentages of Latinx students. Women and gender-diverse professionals who represent these perspectives are highly encouraged to sign up as Panelists to share their stories and answer student questions!\n\n\n\nSome job titles the school is most excited to hear from are editors, directors, scriptwriters, audio engineers, interns, and camera & sound engineers. Visual arts: graphic design, visual design, UI/UX design, interior design, exhibition design, environmental graphic design, fashion design, illustration, animation, videography, video production, editing, and motion graphics design.\n\n\n\nThis is an incredible opportunity to change an IGNITE student’s life! After signing up as a panelist, new Panelists are required to complete our Panelist Training and attend a live, interactive Virtual Panelist Coaching Session.\n\n\n\nThe total time commitment is about 2 hours of pre-event preparation for new Panelists and 15 minutes of preparation for returning Panelists, in addition to two hours for the event itself. Training must be completed by March 16.\n\n\n\nApproximate time commitment:\n\n\n\nNew Panelist: 4 hours: 2 hours prep (training, coaching, materials review) + 2-hour event\n\n\n\nReturning Panelist: 2.25 hours: 15 minutes prep + 2-hour event\n
