DESCRIPTION:\nInspire IGNITE Students in STEM during an IGNITE Panel at James Lick Middle School at 1220 Noe St, San Francisco, CA!\n\n\n\nIGNITE aims to increase gender diversity in high-wage/high demand STEM fields, such as technology and engineering. James Lick Middle School serves a diverse student population, with high percentages of Latinx and Black students and students who speak English as a second language. Women and gender-diverse professionals who represent these perspectives are highly encouraged to sign up as Panelists to share their stories and answer student questions!\n\n\n\nThis is an incredible opportunity to change an IGNITE student’s life! After signing up as a panelist, new Panelists are required to complete our 15-min Panelist Training.\n\n\n\nIn addition, you can help all students access the panel by providing live Spanish translation during the event.\n\n\n\nApproximate time commitment:\n\n\n\nNew Panelist: 4 hours: 2 hours prep (training, coaching, materials review) + 2-hour event\n\n\n\nReturning Panelist: 2.25 hours: 15 minutes prep + 2-hour event\n
