In response to IGNITE Worldwide’s 2012 ecognition at the Grace Hopper Celebration for Women in Computing, USA Today flew a crew out to Seattle to cover the IGNITE program. The crew attended an IGNITE Coding Workshop with girls from South Shore K-8 and interviewed the students and participants. The article, titled, “Teaching for the Future: Steering girls to Science”, was released along with a video covering the inspiring event.
