Expansion in Action
Initial funding secured in December 2023. Successful completion of the Research and Development Stage occurred in Spring 2024.
Highlights
IGNITE Worldwide is actively expanding in Tribal communities, partnering with Paschal Sherman Indian School and Muckleshoot Tribal School. In the 2024–2025 school year, we’ve hosted 8 Panels, 2 Workshops, 4 Field Trips, and 1 virtual Work-Based Learning Experience.
Highlights include Muckleshoot’s first-ever IGNITE Program Events, Microsoft-led Workshops, visits to Stoke Space and Chelan County PUD, and engaging virtual Panels for grades K–9. More Field Trips are in the works, and three virtual Panels are already scheduled for October 2025. We’re proud to connect indigenous students with STEM opportunities and role models—and this is just the beginning.
Equitable Expansion
Where We Are...
and Where We're Going
A cornerstone of the IGNITE Worldwide Program is to remove barriers and provide an opportunity to girls and gender-diverse students who may not otherwise gain exposure to high-wage, high-demand jobs. That’s why we intentionally focus our attention to communities where the need is greatest.
Strategic Partners and IGNITE Worldwide form a collaborative, multi-year partnership to identifying expansion area or community, developing key performance indicators, and setting a timeline.

Multi-Year Funding Support
IGNITE Worldwide is the answer to achieving gender equity in STEM. We work directly with teachers during the school day to provide programming that promotes STEM education and career advancement for girls and gender-diverse youth from historically marginalized communities. Through hands-on events that connect students with role models who live and work in their communities, students recognize new possibilities for their futures.
