Virtual Panel with Planet Labs w/ extended Q&A and swag!

Teachers, be sure to take our short teacher training before signing up for the event.

Only teachers can sign up for IGNITE events. If you are a student, please let the IGNITE Teacher at your school know that you are interested in this event. If you don’t have IGNITE at your school, please email contactus@ignite-worldwide.org to get started!

Students will hear women in STEM tell their stories, share their challenges, and how they overcame them. Students will then participate in a live question and answer session with the panelists!

Planet Labs designs, builds, and launches tiny satellites that we call ‘Doves.’ More than 150 Doves orbit the Earth right now, and they make up the world’s largest constellation of Earth-imaging satellites, capturing fresh imagery of the Earth’s surface every day. As Planeteers we’re a mission-driven group of humanitarians, space geeks, environmentalists, inventors, curious intellectuals, passionate stewards of the earth, and most of all people who never stop exploring the endless possibilities of space. One thing we have in common: we each have a unique story that lead us to working in a space technology company like Planet. At this panel, students can hear from Planet’s current cohort of interns and learn more about their backgrounds before coming to Planet. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn first-hand how the tech industry is becoming more accessible to people from non-traditional backgrounds.

Time TBD—the first teacher to sign up will submit their preferred time.

All students who attend will receive Planet swag!
