Virtual Show-and-Tell Mini Panel (Elementary)

Teachers, be sure to take our short teacher training before signing up for the event.

Only teachers, counselors, or adult staff members at a school can sign up for IGNITE events. If you are a student, please let the IGNITE Teacher at your school know that you are interested in this event. During this IGNITE virtual mini-panel, elementary girls and nonbinary students will meet two women in STEM, who will share their stories and show off visuals about their jobs, like work uniforms or projects they’re involved with. Students will then participate in a live question and answer session with the panelists!

Speakers include:

• Casey Burt, Propulsion Engineer at Boeing – Casey works with airplane engines, and she inspects the engine for every take off and landing to make sure the plane is still in good shape!
• Megan Chun, Data Scientist at Microsoft – Megan uses data to help make Microsoft products and services better and to help people who use these things every day!
