Inga is an author, a regular contributor to Forbes Coaches Council, and an expert with extensive experience in leadership and communication on a global scale.
During the workshop, “Discover Your Ikigai – Your Path to Joy and Purpose”:
- Participants learned about the Ikigai concept—a framework for finding balance and purpose in education and future work.
- The mentor provided practical tools for identifying personal strengths, motivations, and professional interests.
- The session connected international business perspectives with a practical approach to self-development.
Evaluation Results (Post-Meeting Questionnaire):
- Approximately 85% of participants highlighted the importance of being asked about their personal joys and interests in the context of their future careers.
Student Feedback:
“It was great that someone finally asked us what we actually like doing, not just what university we plan to choose.”
While the feedback was enthusiastic, many participants noted that the “Ikigai” exercises were a significant challenge, requiring deep self-reflection. Additionally, students frequently mentioned that the meeting was too short and that they would have welcomed more time to work through the tools presented.
