Inspire IGNITE Students in STEM!

IGNITE aims to increase gender diversity in high-wage/high-demand STEM fields like technology and engineering. We are looking for a Facilitator and Tech Host to moderate and provide technical support, respectively. The Facilitator and Tech Host will meet with our IGNITE organizer for a 1-hour scheduled training before your first event.

Women, nonbinary, transgender, agender, and genderqueer professionals working in these fields are encouraged to sign up as Panelists! After signing up, panelists must review our short Panelist Training Video at least once per school year and attend a live, interactive Virtual Panelist Coaching Session if they have not attended one in the past. Training must be completed by November 14, 2023.

The school has also requested a Spanish translator for this event.

Approximate time commitment:

New Volunteer: 3.5 hours – 2 hours prep (training, coaching, materials review) + 1.5-hour event

Returning Volunteer: 2 hours – 30 minutes prep + 1.5-hour event
