Once you have registered for an IGNITE Panel, we ask that new Panelists:
- Complete this IGNITE Panelist Training.
- Secure at 1-2 visual aids, to be discussed later in this training.
- Practice and time your visual-aid supported share, with a friend in front of the mirror. Even for those who are comfortable with public speaking, the student audience and student-driven Q&A can be a very different experience, so practice time is valuable!
The time commitment for first-time Panelist volunteers is roughly 2 hours, including the event, training, and preparation.
