Field Trip at MicroVision (Redmond, WA – 6th-12th grade)

Only teachers, counselors, or adult staff members at a school can sign up for IGNITE events. If you are a student, please let the IGNITE Educator at your school know that you are interested in this event. Have you ever been curious about how self-driving cars gather and process data? MicroVision is at the forefront of lidar technology, which aids in providing real-time information for self-driving cars to make decisions on the road. The women and gender-diverse individuals at MicroVision are hosting an event to teach students about how lidar works, tour their facilities and ask the team questions about how to begin a career in the STEM field. This event is open to students in grades 6-12; the first school to sign up will determine the age range.
