Why are you involved with IGNITE Worldwide?
After being introduced to IGNITE Worldwide by Elizabeth Hunter in 2019, I’ve been really passionate about the goals, mission and delivery of such a wonderful non-profit for girls in STEM. It’s critically important to me that equality is realized in these 4 important sectors for career opportunities and with that, that we can provide girls at a young age, the awareness and tools to support their passions in these areas, ensuring they never feel omitted from business or society because of their gender. And because this is a worldwide organization, it gives me great hope for my 3 little nieces in Ireland, that they will learn from and benefit from the consistent drive and dedication to providing these opportunities for girls, through IGNITE Worldwide.
How has IGNITE Worldwide inspired you?
I’m inspired daily by the absolute passion, positivity and kindness shared by Cathi and her talented Team – from fundraising planning meetings in which they inject great inspiration into the vision they have, to listening to young recipients and their personal stories, experience and excitement due to IGNITE Worldwide and all it has delivered on to date. There is so much more hope for girls in STEM now than ever was possible.

Opportunity. Hope. Dreams can become reality. With the increasing reach that IGNITE Worldwide exercises around the world, this is a non-profit that matters greatly to our future that we must invest in today.
Bio
Dianne is a Senior Technology Solutions Manager at T-Mobile, after having done ~10 years in a Senior Manager capacity. She focuses on SOX Controls Governance, Process Governance and Data Governance, supporting the centralized Project Management Team and all Domain Teams within the Product & Technology Org. Dianne also partners on a Center of Excellence Team with the PMO to ensure PMs have every process, tool and up-to-date training at their fingertips for ever-changing Tech environments. She is a member of the Diversity & Inclusion network, with particular attention to the Pride & Allies and Women in Leadership groups.
Prior to T-Mobile, Dianne was a Global Program Director for Lionbridge Technologies / VeriTest, having started in their Dublin, Ireland office, then supporting their merger in Santa Monica, California before being transferred to the Bellevue office in 2004. Dianne really enjoyed supporting her localization Teams in India, China, Ireland, Poland and the US, ensuring that diversity in every discipline was realized. Technology jobs were particularly well represented in opportunities for girls / women in both India and China.
In her free time, Dianne is passionate about travel, being by the water, aviation (#AvGeek!), collecting model airplanes, a nice Riesling or Rose but most importantly, spending time with her wife Cindy. She also enjoys travelling back home to Derry, Ireland to soak up as much family time as possible She would like to see IGNITE Worldwide introduced to schools in Ireland so her nieces can learn of the opportunities with and benefits of STEM.
