IGNITE Worldwide Best Practice Award Winner
IGNITE has filled an important gap for so many young women that have the skills needed to be successful in a STEM career, but most do not have the understanding of what is necessary to get them to that next level. The field trips and virtual panels have provided tangible insight for careers they’ve never heard of let alone thought of. These opportunities have given them the guidance, confidence and the inspiration they need to take them out of their comfort zone and to dream of new opportunities. The women that they have met through IGNITE are relatable and approachable. This helps our young women to see that they too can pursue and enjoy a career in STEM.
