BIO
I am a high school junior at Interlake High School. I am passionate about taking STEM to girls, with the two non-profit organizations that I co-founded. Outside of school I am either building robots, conducting programming workshops, or dancing. I enjoy dancing and teaching Bharatanatyam, which is an Indian classical art form.

WHY YOU ARE INVOLVED WITH IGNITE?
IGNITE shares my passion for bringing technology to girls. IGNITE always encourages me to go beyond boundaries and has given me multiple opportunities to make a difference in my community. I truly admire the passion and dedication of the IGNITE team. Working with IGNITE has made me learn new things and challenge myself. IGNITE has helped me to take my STEM curriculum and board game to multiple schools in Federal Way school district. Each member is so enthusiastic and welcoming to young girls like me.

HOW HAS IGNITE INSPIRED YOU?
IGNITE has inspired me to follow my dreams and not limit myself. It has empowered me to meet and teach many young girls. I have conducted workshops and shared my story in IGNITE panels. It is extremely fulfilling to see the smiles on their faces and it motivates me to continue working towards my goals.

WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE THE WIDER COMMUNITY TO KNOW ABOUT IGNITE?
IGNITE is unique in how it takes the opportunities to girls in under-served communities, working hard to create thousands of first generation Engineers. IGNITE helps so many girls to grow into independent young women, having their own careers, not just in technology. It takes a lot of selflessness and dedication to grow into an organization like this, and the volunteers are a true testimony of how many hearts IGNITE has touched.
