Shalini is an insightful, accomplished, strategic and driven Director with 15+ years of experience developing solutions through customer feedback, data assessment, thought leadership, team leadership, and prioritizations in organizations both large and small. She is adept at building flexible, scalable, and efficient processes, supporting global teams and has demonstrated leadership of virtual teams across multiple projects by establishing trusting relationships and creating a work environment that fosters productive and collaborative engagement with a focus on efficient implementation. She currently works in Microsoft in the Azure Supply Chain Engineering team.
As a volunteer on Give campaigns at Microsoft and a passionate fundraiser for various nonprofits in the community, she finds joy and fulfillment in making an impact in others’ lives. As part of the Microsoft Culture Community, she is the D&I Lean-In Circle co-lead enabling topic discussions ranging from career to personal growth. Over the last few years, while raising her teenage girls she was enlightened on challenges that young girls face in STEM fields with lack of representation and participation. This inspired her to join the Ignite community and help make a difference in the lives of girls. She is also a part-time certified Yoga Instructor and has conducted fundraisers to give back to nonprofits in the community. She strongly believes that everyone deserves access to equitable educational opportunities. Education is the most powerful weapon and is one thing that no one can take away from you.
