That’s why we’re excited to share the renewal of our membership in the Cyber Education Alliance—a continued investment in expanding access to cybersecurity education and career pathways.

Strengthening a Critical Partnership

Cybersecurity is one of the fastest-growing fields in STEM, yet it continues to face a significant gender gap. Through our ongoing partnership with the Cyber Education Alliance, IGNITE connects with a network of leaders working to close this gap by building inclusive, accessible pathways into cybersecurity careers.

Renewing this membership allows IGNITE to:

Bringing Cybersecurity to Life: Recent IGNITE Panels

This winter, IGNITE hosted two impactful cybersecurity-focused events that brought students face-to-face with professionals in the field.

Cybersecurity Panel at Skyline High School

The following day, IGNITE expanded its reach through a Women in Cybersecurity Virtual Panel, connecting students across multiple schools with professionals working in cybersecurity.

Designed to inspire and inform, the panel highlighted diverse career pathways within cybersecurity and emphasized the importance of representation in shaping the future of the field. Students had the chance to ask questions, hear personal stories, and gain insight into both technical and non-technical roles in cybersecurity.

Both events are part of IGNITE’s broader program model, which uses panels, workshops, and field trips to introduce students to STEM careers and connect them with industry professionals.

Looking Ahead

Renewing our membership in the Cyber Education Alliance builds on the momentum of these recent events. Together, these efforts ensure that IGNITE students are not only exposed to cybersecurity, but are also supported in pursuing it.
