The Chelan County Public Utility District (PUD) is a not-for-profit customer owned, locally regulated, utility provided. In addition to clean, renewable, reliable, and affordable utility services including electricity, water, and fiber-optic internet, our PUD provides free parks, environmental stewardship programs and educational outreach. We work hard to make our community a better place for residents today and into the future.
Explore the inside of the Rocky Reach Dam powerhouse and learn how your power is made. Walk across the generation floor, down inside a turbine pit, across the transformer deck, and across the spillway. This is a great opportunity to see and feel the energy of hydropower and learn about careers in the hydro industry.
