Field Trip at Amazon Web Services Skills Center (Arlington, VA – High School)
Please ensure you have requested transportation from your district for this trip upon registering.
During this field trip to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Skills Center, students will have the opportunity to interact with exhibits during a tour/scavenger hunt of the Cloud Discovery. Students will participate in a tour of a data center and learn more about roles within the data center. Students will hear from Amazonians about their career journeys and engage in a live, student-driven Q&A.
AWS Skills Center Arlington is a free training center for anyone in the local community who is curious about cloud computing and future job possibilities in the cloud. Access fun and engaging cloud skills training and interactive exhibits. It’s all free, and everyone is welcome. No matter where you are on your cloud journey, there’s a place for you to learn at the AWS Skills Centers. Visit their website to learn more!
This field trip is open to students ages 13+. All students who attend will receive AWS swag!
Educators, be sure to take our short 2024-2025 educator training before signing up for this event. Only teachers, counselors, or adult staff members at a school can sign up for IGNITE events.
