Weyerhaeuser is a company that grows trees and makes wood products used to build homes, schools, and everyday items—while taking care of forests so they can be used again and again. Our scientists, engineers, technologists, and data experts use STEM skills to solve real‑world problems like sustainability, climate solutions, and safety, helping people and communities thrive. What makes Weyerhaeuser exciting is that we combine nature and technology to make a positive impact on the world—today and for the future. Learn more!
During this transit-accessible field trip, students will tour Weyerhaeuser’s Seattle headquarters and learn how innovation and technology shape the future of sustainable forestry. We’ll explore how artificial intelligence is used to solve real‑world problems, then team up to play a forest management game that shows how decisions impact people and the planet. The visit will wrap up with a Q&A panel featuring women in STEM at Weyerhaeuser, where students can ask questions and hear real career stories.
- All attendees will receive Weyerhaeuser swag!
