IGNITE Worldwide Joins Cyber Education Alliance to Expand Cybersecurity Education for Girls and Gender-Diverse Students
IGNITE Worldwide is proud to announce our membership in the Cyber Education Alliance, a national coalition dedicated to empowering K–12 students with the knowledge and skills to thrive in our increasingly digital world. Led by Girls Who Code and made possible by Craig Newmark Philanthropies, the Alliance brings together leading organizations to address the urgent need for cybersecurity education.
By joining the Cyber Education Alliance, IGNITE Worldwide will ramp up opportunities for girls and gender-diverse students—particularly from underserved communities—to explore cybersecurity careers through hands-on learning, mentorship, and real-world experiences. This partnership strengthens our commitment to ensuring all students have access to the resources, role models, and pathways they need to become leaders in technology and digital safety.
“We know that representation and early exposure are key to building a more inclusive future in cybersecurity,” said Cathi Rodgveller, Founder & CEO at IGNITE Worldwide. “Through the Cyber Education Alliance, we can connect even more students to professionals that they can relate to, cutting-edge skills, and the confidence to see themselves in these critical roles.”
Together with our fellow Alliance members, IGNITE will work to spark interest in cybersecurity careers and help create a diverse pipeline of talent ready to protect and innovate in the digital age.
